 Current CORL Needs (“Wish List”)

  1. Annual CORL Infrastructure support (staff salaries, benefits, supplies, newsletters, etc.): $75,000/year
  2. Video/Optical Capture Kinematic System- $200,000
  3. 2 Additional Force Plates- $75,000
  4. TekScan Pressure Floor Mate- $50,000
  5. Expansion of Gait Lab Runway- $5,000
  6. Treadmill- $10,000
  7. Digital Video Equipment- $3,000
  8. Surgery Resident Salary Support: $30,000/year
  9. Continuing Education Support- CORL Personnel: $6,000/year
  10. CORL Internal Research Fund (supporting CORL staff, SA orthopedic faculty, house officers, and students (veterinary, graduate, and undergraduate): $50,000/year
  11. Graduate Student Research Assistantship (DVM, MS or DVM, PhD): $50,000/year
  12. CORL Cutting-Edge Orthopedic Research and Surgery Outside Speaker Fund (4 times per year): $12,000/year
  13. Annual CORL-Sponsored Veterinary Student Scholarship (for 3rd or 4th year veterinary students with demonstrated interest and competency in clinical small animal orthopedics and research): $2,000/year
