Biographical Information
Mark DeSantis is a
professor at the University of Idaho (Department of Biological Sciences and
Washington/Wyoming/Alaska/Montana/Idaho [WWAMI] Medical Education Program). As
an undergraduate, he majored in biology at Villanova University (B.S. 1963)
and then did graduate work in anatomy at Creighton University (M.S. 1966) and
the University of California, Los Angeles (Ph.D. 1970). After that he was a
research associate at the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratories in
Pensacola, Florida (neurophysiology) and a faculty member at Georgetown
University (anatomy).
