Research in Veterinary Clinical Sciences (VCS)
Research in the department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences is often
applied to clinical problems. Some VCS research is in the form of a
clinical study. A clinical study is a test of a new drug or procedure that
is being evaluated for effectiveness in animals with naturally occurring
disease. In some cases the effectiveness of the new drug or procedure
is compared with currently available treatments.
Faculty in VCS also work in collaboration with faculty in other
departments in the college. Follow the VCS Faculty Interests' link at the
left for an overview of the areas of expertise of the VCS faculty.
