Summer Research at Washington State University's College of Veterinary
Medicine
Many veterinary students engage in summer research in the College of
Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. Some students work
individually with faculty to arrange summer jobs in labs. However, most
student research in the summer is supported by a Research Fellowship awarded
competitively by the college through it's Research Committee. This
fellowship program is funded by grants from Merck-Merial and the National
Institutes of Health, and by college funds. It is open both to students
enrolled at WSU and to ethnic minority students enrolled in other colleges
of veterinary medicine.
