Membership
Membership in the College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Academy is
evidence of the commitment of our members to education and developing
the next generation of veterinarians. Our members are dedicated to
improving and developing not only their own educational methods, but
strengthening the excellence in teaching throughout the College of
Veterinary Medicine and the greater community.
The Teaching Academy provides a working group of
teaching faculty that is a cross-departmental community of dedicated
educators who strive to promote professional development, innovation,
and excellence in teaching and learning.

faculty of approximately 204. Academy members represent six unique
departments--Dean's Office; Veterinary Microbiology Pathology;
Veterinary Teaching Hospital; Veterinary Anatomy, Pharmacology,

of Molecular Biosciences. The membership ranges from assistant to full
professor, and includes department chairs, associate deans, residence
and clinical faculty. ~as of May 2013
