|CD47R, formally was CDw149, is expressed on peripheral blood lymphocytes, monocytes, is weak on neutrophils, eosinophils, platelets and is negative on erythrocytes. Expression is on T cell lines HPB-ALL, Molt-4 and Jurkat, on B cell lines Raji, REH, CEB and Daudi and on the erythroid line K562 and early progenitor line KG1a. The level of expression on any subset of peripheral blood leukocytes does not markedly change after PHA in 3 days or PMA in 1 hour activation.|

Thus far, this is a poorly characterized molecule. The only known characteristics are the cellular expression and the approximate Mr as determined by Western blotting of the nonreduced detergent lysate of the Raji cells. MEM-133 blocked the binding of FITC-labeled MEM-120 and vice versa to the cell surface indicating that both mAbs recognize a similar epitope.
