CD300e is a single-pass type-1 205 aa integral glycoprotein.  It contains an 12 aa signal sequence, a 44 aa extracellular domain which contains an Ig-like V-type domain and a potential N-glycosylation site, a transmembrane domain and a 10 aa cytoplasmic domain.  CD300e is an activating receptor and is a newly identified member of the CMRF35 family within the Ig gene superfamily.
