Active Learning Interest Group
The Active Learning Interest Group are made up of current Teaching Academy members interested in implementing one or more of the teaching strategies introduced in the recent Active Learning Workshop presented by Dr. Diane O'Dowd. The purpose of the group is to provide feedback and encouragement to one another as we try to incorporate these new approaches into our classes.

Schedule of Activities
The meetings are designed to cover two areas of interest concerning active learning in the classroom: 1) An overview of what other people have done in the past and their recommendations for trying a strategy out; and 2) a chance to share future plans and discover new active learning strategies. These discussions will allow opportunities for feedback from experienced and inexperienced group members alike.
