Active Learning Material
The active learning strategies are used in the classroom to promote more dialogue and better understanding of the material for the students. The Teaching Academy has formed an interest group of members interested in implementing one or more of the teaching strategies introduced in the recent Active Learning Workshop presented by Dr. Diane O'Dowd. The purpose of the group is to provide feedback and encouragement to one another as we try to incorporate these new approaches into our classes. Below is the material found by the group, as well as other useful resources.
