Mr. Blake supervises staff, conducts continued training of his staff and strives to see that clients and patients referred to WSU's VTH receive the best possible care and communication possible. With a staff of over 100 in the VTH, 45 faculty and 26 interns and residents, there are a great number of pressures and needs with which Doug must interface on a daily basis. The range of expectations from the Faculty to the State of Washington to most importantly, the students, clients and referring veterinarians is broad and considerable. Mr. Blake labors away with a positive attitude and is committed to continuous improvement in our service. Mr. Blake works with a great deal of pride and principle to make the program work more effectively, day in and day out.
